File exports

Available formats and what's included

Introduction

You can export your work from Noxtua as a file to share, archive, or continue working on outside the app. This article lists the formats each part of Noxtua exports to, what each file contains, and what you need to export successfully. It also covers current limitations and common questions.

At a glance

Noxtua exports chats, documents, and matrices to Word or Excel, and skills to .zip. It does not export to PDF, CSV, or Markdown.

Workaround

There is no PDF export.

Export to Word, then save it as PDF from Word.

Chat exports leave out images and show only each image's description.

Download the images separately.

File names are cut to 80 characters.

Rename the file after downloading.

FAQs

The chat has no messages with text, for example, because it was never used or every reply failed. Send a message, then export again.

Loading the content, building the file, or downloading it failed. Check your connection and try again. If it keeps failing, contact support and say which chat or document you're working on.

In Firefox and Safari, and in Chromium browsers where the Save as window is turned off, files go to your Downloads folder.

Yes. Downloading a document you are editing keeps its tracked changes, so you or a colleague can accept or reject them in Word.

In Noxtua, each answer numbers its own sources. In the export, numbering runs across the whole chat, so a source keeps one number everywhere and is listed once.

Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires AI-generated content to be identifiable. Noxtua records this in the file's properties, not in the visible content.

No. Chats are exported one at a time.
